Welcome to Our Gang Racing
Our Gang Racing is a group of individuals with wide-ranging skills and expertise that share
a common passion for unlimited hydroplane racing. The Gang was brought together last
year to share in the achievement of a lifetime goal: Design, construct, and competitively
race an unlimited hydroplane. Normally, it takes 2 years to build an unlimited Hydroplane-
we did it in 6 months! The first time on the water, our boat was making laps at more than
145 MPH and hitting 186 MPH in the straight-aways.

So, what's new with Our Gang Racing and the Miss Red Dot? Well, we got a few months (ok, it was really just a couple weeks) of R&R before it was time to get back into the shop. We stripped the boat clean in order to inspect, analyze, and start making improvements to the hull, hardware, systems, and power plant. We expect to be more than just competitive in 2008! |
