Our Gang Racing Help Bring Ronald
back to Ronald McDonald House

On Friday, March 6, Ronald had a place on the bench at the Seattle Ronald McDonald House once again. The original statue was stolen and damaged beyond repair. Paula Platz who happened to have a Ronald statue in her basement donated the statue to the Ronald McDonald House. The U-17 Unlimited Hydroplane Our Gang Racing Team repaired and painted the statue, then delivered it back to the house. The new statue arrived at the house with children from Children's Hospital on hand to celebrate his return. Also on hand was Ronald McDonald himself and the Seafair Clowns. After re-christening the new statue, children and Ronald himself took turns sitting in the cockpit of the U-17 hydroplane. Who knows, maybe a future driver just took their first turn behind the wheel.
